Mississippi County, established in 1833 was named after the Mississippi River which borders the county to the east and has a total area of 919.73 sq mi. It has two County seats in Blytheville and Osceola. The total population of the county is over 46K with an amalgamation of White, Native American, black or African American, Asian, Hispanic or Latino, Pacific Islander, and others with around 19K households and 13K families.
