Named in the honor of Lieutenant Zebulon Pike, the explorer who discovered Pikes Peak, the Pike County was founded in 1833. Murfreesboro is the county seat. A population of more than 11K with an amalgamation of White, Native American, black or African American, Asian, Hispanic or Latino, Pacific Islander, and others including 4.5K households and 3.2K families are found here. Located in the Unites States of Arkansas, it occupies an area of 614 sq mi.
